A payout that has not arrived is stuck at one of three places. Knowing which one turns a frustrating day into a five-minute fix.
Quick answerA withdrawal passes the operator's review, then the mobile money rail, then the agent's cash float. Verification stalls the first, time usually fixes the second, and a different agent fixes the third.
You request a withdrawal in the cashier. The operator checks the account, then sends the money to a mobile money wallet on your registered number.
From there it behaves like any other wallet balance. Cashing it out is a separate step that involves an agent, or none at all if you spend it from the wallet.
Three gates, three different causes of delay, and almost nobody separates them when they complain. Separating them is most of the work.
| Gate | What it checks | Typical cause of delay |
|---|---|---|
| Operator review | Verification, bonus status, account flags | Documents not submitted or name mismatch |
| Payment rail | Transfer to the wallet | Timeout, settles on its own |
| Agent float | Cash available at the counter | Evening and month-end shortages |
The most common hold is incomplete verification. The account was opened in a minute and the documents were never uploaded, so the first payout triggers the request.
The second is a name mismatch between the betting account, the national ID and the mobile money registration. All three have to agree before money moves.
The third is an open bonus. If wagering is not finished, the bonus portion and sometimes the whole balance is locked until it is, or until you forfeit the offer.
Nothing on this page, and nothing a support agent says, changes the rule that money returns to a wallet in your own name.
Once the operator approves, the transfer is handed to the mobile money network. Most of the time it lands immediately; occasionally the confirmation lags behind the money.
That gap is where the word pending does most of its damage. It usually means in flight rather than refused, and it usually resolves without anyone doing anything.
Give it an hour before raising it. If it is still missing, the operator's reference and the time of the request are what support needs.
Money in the wallet is not the same as notes in your hand. Cashing out needs an agent who holds enough physical cash at that moment.
Float runs short in predictable places and times: busy areas in the evening, and everywhere at month end when salaries land. It has nothing to do with betting.
Two fixes work. Take a smaller amount, or walk to a quieter counter. Spending from the wallet directly avoids the problem entirely.
The M-Pesa page covers the wallet leg in more detail, and payments covers the other wallets.

Every operator in this market advertises fast payouts. The phrase is not measurable from outside, which is why we do not publish payout times for anyone.
What you can measure is your own experience, twice. Request a small withdrawal, note the time it lands, repeat a week later and compare.
Two data points from your own account are worth more than any claim on a comparison page, including the claims on this site's own pages.
| Claim | Verifiable by you? |
|---|---|
| “Instant payouts” | Only by testing your own account twice |
| “No withdrawal fees” | Yes — compare the amounts requested and received |
| “24/7 processing” | Partly — try one late at night |
| “Highest limits” | No — limits differ per account |
Larger payouts attract more checks at every operator. That is normal risk practice, and it is why a first big withdrawal often takes longer than a small one.
Splitting a large amount into two or three requests is sometimes faster in practice, and it keeps the agent float problem manageable at the counter.
What it should not become is a habit of withdrawing constantly in tiny amounts, because wallet charges eat the difference.
Tanzania applies a withholding tax on betting winnings, deducted by the operator before the payout reaches you. It is not a fee invented by the betting site.
That is why a payout can be smaller than the balance you expected. The arithmetic is set in law, not in the cashier.
The tax page explains how the deduction is applied and what it means for how you count a winning week.
If a payout is smaller than expected, check tax and bonus status before assuming an error.
Send all five at once and ask one question: which of the three gates is it sitting at. That phrasing gets a specific answer instead of a template.
If the answer is verification, fix it that day. If it is the rail, wait. If it is the agent, that was never the operator's problem.
| Fact | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Withdrawal reference | The cashier history |
| Amount requested | The same screen |
| Date and time of request | The same screen |
| Registered phone number | Your account profile |
| Verification status | Your account profile |
None of that is clever. It is the difference between a payout that takes minutes and one that becomes a week of messages.
The last habit also tells you something no operator will: whether you are actually up over the month.
Request the payout in the cashier to the mobile money number registered on your account. Verification has to be complete, and the name on the wallet must match the account.
Pending usually means one of three things: the operator is checking the account, the transfer is in flight on the rail, or a bonus is still locking the balance. Verification is the most common cause.
We do not publish payout times for any operator because they cannot be verified from outside. Test your own account twice with small amounts and you will have a real answer.
No. Payouts go to the registered number, and the wallet must be in your own name. That rule exists everywhere in this market.
Usually withholding tax on winnings, which the operator deducts before paying, or a bonus portion that has not cleared its wagering.
Take a smaller amount, try a quieter agent, or spend from the wallet directly. The money has already left the betting site at that point.
The mobile money provider charges its standard transfer and cash-out rates. Whether the operator adds anything is shown in the cashier before you confirm.
Often, because large payouts attract extra checks at every operator. Splitting a big win into two or three requests is a reasonable approach.
The withdrawal reference, amount, date and time, your registered number and your verification status, with one question: which gate is it sitting at.
